25th Workshop on Elliptic Curve Cryptography.

Taipei, Taiwan, Oct 30 – Nov 1, 2024 (with an Isogenies School Oct. 28–29)

The government has decided to close down on Thursday, October 31!

1. Be careful outside, be aware of falling palm tree branches!
2. Bus schedules may be affected, probably they will operate less frequently.
3. We continue ECC 2024 at the Institute of information Science, Academia Sinica.

4. Lunchboxes have been secured.
5. Coffee will be provided, snacks unfortunately not as well.
   Breakfast will be there.
6. The banquet has been cancelled.
   We will provide dinner for attendees who have made it to the workshop today.

The wind and rain did get a lot more scary overnight. Because the speakers are staying <200 m away in the Activities Center, and it is basically impossible to ensure getting to everybody, we are not calling it off, but ask everyone to use common sense in getting to Institute of Information Science. Do not attempt to come when it is unsafe outside. In particular we told the staff to only come once they have located a taxi or uber, and you should really do the same unless already inside Academia Sinica.
